Matthew Fox is the greatest living mystical Christian theologian. Andrew Harvey is the founder of the Institute of Sacred Activism and the global movement it launched. On April 9, 2022, they will show for the first time how their complementary visions can work together to put love, joy and hope into radical action to protect the Earth and global democracy.
As longtime spiritual friends, both of these master teachers welcome this unique opportunity to merge their interconnected visions of how to meet our global dark night with joy, resolution and passion: to put love into action, to preserve both our planet and the democratic institutions and practices that can still effect vibrant solutions and birth transformative possibilities.
Don’t miss this exceptional opportunity to be with these two elders at the pinnacle of their experience, eager to transmit to you the essence of what they have learned during their lifelong dedication to humanity.
In the first two-hour session, Matthew Fox will present his vision and map of creation spirituality. Derived from his own inmost experience and the testimony of Jesus and great Christian mystics such as Hildegard of Bingen, Thomas Aquinas, Meister Eckhart and Julian of Norwich.
Matthew’s precise and gorgeous map of how to put creation spirituality into practice offers seekers on all paths a galvanizing vision of the sacredness of the creation and the necessity to support economic and political institutions and wise urgent radical action to preserve it and us.
He will offer from the heart of the Christian mystical tradition a vibrant heart practice that can align us with the living presence of the cosmic Christ in and as all things.
In the two-hour afternoon session, Andrew Harvey will present the evolutionary vision of Sacred Activism that he believes is essential not only for human survival but for the creation of a new way of being and doing everything to birth new systems aligned with the universe’s laws of interdependence and justice. He will share the seven mystical laws derived from his intimate knowledge of many mystical traditions that govern the practice of Sacred Activism and ensure its most powerful and transformative effect.
He will offer a tantric practice of the golden light that enables seekers on all paths to experience the divinizing power of the divine and build the necessary passion of compassion in every part of their being to enable them to rise to the challenge and potential of Sacred Activism and its regenerating potential.
A Bonus Integration Session follows the online workshop after some time has passed, allowing participants to go more deeply into the lessons and consider what they learned. (It is especially useful to those who journal about their reactions during or after the workshop and want to share their insights.) This will be an active Q&A session and all participants will have an opportunity to pose personal questions and share their own observations and reactions to the coursework.
