Dear Friends,
The initiation that was held in Oak Park in July was perhaps my most profound experience as a teacher. As you know, the initiation was inspired by the ancient mysteries of Greece and Egypt and it was my prayer that through it a template would be created that could be used all over the world. I was very nervous before it began because nothing like it has been attempted but infact what happened was nothing short of miraculous. All the teachers and all the participants felt in different ways elated, inspired, and recommitted to sacred action. We are planning a new version of the initiation for October of next year (October 1-7 2011) where we will again have room for 45 participants. I would be so honored to see you there. I had the privilege of helping through several drafts and then writing an introduction. Philip's vision of embodiment and its radiant possibilities is one I believe crucial to Sacred Activism. At present I am devoting all my time to consolidating the vision and practice of Sacred Activism in as available a form as possible to all those who want them. To that end, a global curriculum for Sacred Activism is being written by Diane Berke and myself, all the videos of last years 4 classes and this year's initiation are being into final shape. I am also recording a complete audio version of The Hope - what I am intending to do with the grace of God is to establish a Sacred Activism presence on the web, so that all of these can be available along side with interviews with prominent Sacred Activists and great spiritual teachers who are aligned with the radicalism of the vision. I hope that all of this will come together in the autumn. Jill and I are working very hard to realize this profound plan in a way that can offer real encouragement and tools for transformation to you all in this deepening crisis.
I am also going to create 2 new adventures in 2011. The first is the School for Sacred Warriorship with my beloved friend Linda Tucker in South Africa (March 12th to 20th, 2011) in which Linda and I will bring together the wisdom of the worlds mystical traditions and the shamanic vision of warriorship in the holy presence of the White Lions. The School of Sacred Warriorship.
The second adventure is the I am going to co create with my great friend Chris Saade an Academy for Sacred Leadership which will fuse together my vision of Sacred Activism with Chris' extraordinary vision which he calls 'Integra'- which is has evolved over 30 years in Charlotte NC. Chris taught a short version of his vision during the recent initiation and was greeted with tremendous enthusiasm.
I will be sending you more details on both these adventures in the next months.
I think we all know that we are heading into the eye of a great evolutionary storm which will decide the fate of humanity. More than ever, it is essential for all of us I believe to deepen our spiritual practices so that we can stay calm and vibrant with energy through the shaking of our world.
