Andrew Harvey is an internationally-renowned religious scholar, writer, teacher, and the author of more than 30 books, including the critically acclaimed The Way of Passion: A Celebration of Rumi and the award-winning A Journey in Ladakh. He is co-author of the best-selling The Tibetan Book of Living & Dying and has written for the New York Times Book Review, Yoga Journal, and others. He has devoted much of his life to studying the world's mystical traditions and has taught at Oxford, Cornell, and other universities. Andrew was the subject of the 1993 BBC documentary The Making of a Mystic. His passion and latest work he refers to as "Sacred Activism", which was the subject of a documentary by the same name and of an earlier interview Andrew did with Mitchell for A Better World TV & Video Series. Here we see Andrew speak eloquently of one of his greatest mentors of all time the famed Sufi poet Rumi. In Parts 1 & 2 combined here, is a vivifying conversation, both speaking with unbounded enthusiasm and appreciation for the wisdom of this 13th century teacher & poet.
